About Vitrified Clay

Logan Clay Products produces vitrified clay products from locally-sourced clays and shales that are mixed, extruded and fired to approximately 2000o (1100oC).  The result is an inert ceramic material that has exceptional strength (average 18,000 psi), abrasion and corrosion resistance.  More importantly, these characteristics do not change or degrade over time, even when subjected to the back fill loads and acids found in sanitary sewer pipe applications.

The natural properties of Vitrified Clay make it the longest-lasting pipe material available.
